The shed is not compatible with Lionel Fastrack. The opening where the track goes is not wide enough for Fastrack so engines can not fit inside the sheds. If not, it looks nice. It is lighted and the tracks are on five inch centers. The top comes off so you can look inside and there’s a small crane inside. It comes fully assembled and is made of plastic.

Signal worked well and was simple to wire for my son. Signal has all one color (yellow) and only changes light patterns. Fantastic for a junction signal.

This is a gorgeous train set. The locomotive and tender are quite heavy and can pull a lot of cars. What I don’t like, is the finicky throttle. Because well ahead engine speed reins and sound electronics are in the Tender, you don’t get the direct response you’d expect with the throttle control. Still, it’s by far the best steam locomotive for the money.

I was extremly displeased with the way the customer service treated me at eHobbies. I wanted to return this item because it was not what I plotting it to be and the procedure to returning this item was torment. I will never buy whatever thing from this company because customer satisfaction is not their goal.

This is a cute toy that I bought for my grandson, but he certainly needed an adult to help him place it together. The moving parts were rather hard to operate for a 4-year-ancient, but this was the toy he had his heart set on. This toy was not unfilled locally, and it might have helped to have seen one set up in a store, but I doubt it.

My 20 month ancient is all into Thomas at the moment so got this as a X-mmas gift. After his naps he points to it & goes to play with it all the time. He does not know how to operate the claw absolutely but he is getting the hang of it. He presses on it & and tries to pick up the tunnel cage form point A to B. It gets loud but that’s ok as long as he is leanring & enjoying. But hs knows to flip the swithces on the tracks for thomas to go. Overall for $25 it’s a decent buy & it comes with a thomas train, that alone would cost $15.

It looks nice, but the ‘claw’ doesn’t grab or release very well, making for a lot of frustrated cries

for help from my child. I may have a lemon, dunno. There is also a noise-making tool to ‘fix’ the

train that gets pretty obnoxious. With Thomas toys simpler is better, IMO.

I bought this toy for my son. He is 3 years ancient and absolutely likes it. I reckon the first reviewer had a defective one because our claw works fantastic. The repair tool is a key part of the set. That is what you use to fix Thomas! This is a fantastic addition to our Thomas pool.
